    New Packaging Wins Prestigious Award

The Antiquary, one of Scotland’s oldest and best-known deluxe Scotch whisky blends, recently won the 2004 StarPack Silver Packaging Award.

The new packaging, introduced in 2003, is particularly innovative. The uniquely shaped bottle (first introduced in the 1960s) is now encased in a new squarer tube incorporating a pop-out coaster in the lid. The coasters feature three of Scotland’s most famous castles – Edinburgh, Culzean and Eilean Donan.

The Antiquary is steeped in history – it was first introduced in 1857 by John and William Hardie - yet this smooth, mellow deluxe blended whisky has a modern appeal, across the widest spectrum of age groups, and to both men and women.

Maybe there are some things in life that can be all things to all people …
